The Center for Modern Greece (CeMoG) provides an overarching, interdisciplinary research framework for inquiries into the forms, principles and history of German-Greek cultural and scientific relations. The collaboration with Greek and German institutions not only sunstantiates the Center's bilateral orientation, but also promises to generate impulses for Greek-German research in general. In addition, CeMoG functions as a node in the network of German-Greek research by hosting research projects financed by third-party funding. Within the framework of individual programs, researchers connect to the scholarly interests of the Center and focus on aspects of the history of German-Greek scientific and cultural relations.
