The Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Alexandros Papaioannou jointly with the World Jewish Congress and the Foundation Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, cordially invite you to the screening of the Documentary: "Do not forget me": the story of three Jewish mothers who write to their sons from the Thessaloniki ghetto.

The documentary is in Greek with English subtitles. The conversation will be conducted in English.

A light reception will follow the discussion.

The documentary, directed by Grigoris Apostolopoulos, is based on the homonymous book by Dr. Leon Saltiel, historian, Director of Diplomacy and Representative at UN Geneva and UNESCO for the World Jewish Congress, as well as author of the publication "The Holocaust in Thessaloniki: Reactions to the Anti-Jewish Persecution, 1942–1943, which won the 2021 Yad Vashem International Book Prize for Holocaust Research
